NFC or Near Field Communication which was initially developed by Sony and Philips is an ID or Interconnects Technology for close-range wireless communication which enables two devices to communicate with each other. NFC tags have a small memory along with a radio chip attached to an antenna. Usually NFC tags are Read only, but types 1,2, 3 can be re-written.
