How to Manage Stress

Stress is a reaction of the body which is equivalent to production of physical and mental responses to changes or challenges, one face in day to day life.

ICMR (Indian Council for Medical Research), a premier health body of India study has shown that increasing volume of work has led to the spike in Stress levels. According to a study published in the Indian Journal of Medical Research, the pandemic of Covid 19 has led to increase in stigma that HCWs (Health Care Workers) face due to verbal and physical abuse leading to increased level of Stress.

Long time exposure to Stress leads to wear and tear in the body. The symptoms are reflected in form of High BP, Pain in Chest, Insomnia, Digestive issues, Low Immunity, Anxiety and Panic attacks.
